Entry clearence manager's review over aunts refusal....

Hi,
Applied for a 2 month visitor visa for aunt. By mistake a bank statement 4 months old got included in pack and got refused on this....

"I am satisfied you meet the requirements except for you have sent a sponsors bank statement is 4 months old and it is not clear if these funds are available. So I refuse your application."

So I appealed and sent another bank statement from another account of mines which the moneys been in for 3 years and certified by the bank and thought the entry clearence manager would review the decision as only refused on this but its been 8 weeks now so I am thinking it will go to a oral hearing.
Just wanted some advice to how long the managers take to review the intial decision and any other tips for the oral appeal?.

Hi Chinna,

I am also looking for ECM review timelines. I applied for appeal in Delhi (on 6th Jul 2010) for my tier 1 (general) dependant refusal. Got an acknoledgement on 8th july 2010. But dont know what will be next stage & how long ? And also how will I know if the ECM had reviewed and upheld the ECO decision.

Can you let me know what happened with your appeal did you received any information on that & how and when ?
