HSMP and deportation

Post by arbuz » Mon Mar 13, 2006 4:01 pm

I am planning to apply for HSMP from US, and I have an outstanding deportation order in US for overstaying.

Will this order be a problem for UK clearence?

Thank you.

But I am actually not even planning to go back home, I will apply being in US. My homeland passport is clean and does not show any deportation.
I guess I have no other choice but keep quite about the order.

You could only apply Immigration in the UK from US you you are US residence. So, you need to show your pasport which bear your residence/visa in the US, not yuor clean/blank passport. Otherwise you need to apply from home.

Luckily I still do have a Green Card, but INS wants to take it away.

I do not understand why did you raise this topic "outstanding deportation order" but you said you have a Green Card ???

What's not clear? Did you not know, you can be US citizen for 40 years and still can be deported?

Ok, arbuz thank you for your explanation.
It is now clear for me. I think it is unfair. If you are US citizen your home is US.
