taking job seeker and tax credit togather is it ok

hii to all...got my ilr this month .....my husband recently become ill and is on ssp ,he claim for tax credit,which is approved,now on 26 june,his job is going to an end because he is not fit for work as doctor told him,he claim for job seeker allowance as well,which is also been approved,now in pipe line,he claim for housing benefits and a council house,My question is it ok to get these benefit together,we never claim any benefits before in our life and these benefits are also for time being.Does all these benefit effect my nationalization next year .thanks for your kind help.....

you can check you benefits on this site

if you working then you get working tax credit
if you not working then you get JSA
if you working or not working you can get housing & council benefits
