H4 Visa Specific Scenario

Hi,

I am moving to States from UK next month. My wife would apply from Islamabad consulate. She got turned down for visa for UK to join me here because our Nikah was held in proxy.

Before I leave for States, we intend to have civil marriage in Pakistan and show that as proof of valid marriage in addition to Nikahnama.

Our concern is that since there is an application received stamp for UK visa in her passport, will it matter when applying for US H4 visa.

any help would be appreciated as always.
