Benefits after ILR !

Post by gtilr88 » Thu Jun 24, 2010 1:49 pm

Hello All,

Recently I got the ILR for myself and my family (wife and child).

I am working in UK for last 5 years and paying taxes and NI.

Can anyone please advice me what sort of benefits I am eligible for?

How can I claim the child benefits and tax credits please provide the right direction when I can get the application forms AND where i have to submit the forms etc?

Also can i apply for back dated child benefits e.g. 1 month back i got the ILR.

Now that you have ILR you are entitled to claim any benefits that your circumstances dictate you are entitled to claim.

As regards Child Benefit and Tax Credits, go to the www.hmrc.gov.uk website, and click on the links on their home page.
