Multiple entry bisiness visa to Italy

Post by lboro » Wed Jun 30, 2010 2:32 pm

Does any one has expereience of getting 6 or 12 months multiple entries business visa from Italian embassy? If so, can u share any tips on how to make it likely for consulate to issue that visa? (I have all the usual documents they requested for)

I had 6 months multiple entries business visa from France embassy which expire next week. This time my main business activities will be in Italy so I have to go to Italian embassy and I had rumours that they are not friendly and easy to deal with like French!

If you can show travel insurance valid for 6 months, travel and hotel bookings in the next 6 months within Italy, there is no reason why they wouldn't.

Italian embassy people are quite good and they stick to the rule book promptly.

Jst the update, I visited the Italian Consulate in London this week and the process was very smooth (very easy than I thought), and it was best experience in the visa processing I encountered so far..The whole process took only half an hr, no long ques, u jst need to arrive at ur appointment time and straight u will see the visa officer within 10mins (no long wait!!!)

I jst gave them a letter from my emplyer (ofcourse with other usual documents) saying that I need to travel frequently to Italy for business purposes and that was enough for them to issue 6months multiple entries..I didn't need future bookings or tickets for future travelling!
