What is accepted as a 'Certified' Copy of a Passport? Will the post office Identity checking service be accepted?

Thanks

If you are applying for somebodys visa and sending certified copies as part of the application then NO the post office ones will not do.

You have to get them certified by a solicitor. He would charge you about £10 to have them done. My advise would be to have every page done (even though they may be blank) so teh ECO looking at them can be totally satisfied taht your passport is truly genuine.

So you have to copy every page of the passport? Not just the main photo page?

Copy and certify all pages, including the blank ones. The ECO will want to see that a page isn't missing from the passport....for obvious reasons. 8)
