Question on 320 (7B) flowchart

Post by krafter » Mon Jul 12, 2010 6:57 pm

This flowchart is on ukvisas.gov. It seems pretty straight forward for the most part, except this term "offence demonstrated to a high standard?" Does anyone have any idea what this means?

In my case, I was on a student visa for 13 months, overstayed for 110 days, and left voluntarily at my expense. I was not asked to leave. Do you think I fall under that phrase, and will 320 (7B) be applied to me?
Thanks for your hopefully helpful answers!

320(7B) will apply to you for a period of 12 months, because you overstayed more than 28 day. The fact you left at your own expenses helped you in as far as preventing the 5 years ban from being imposed.
