SWITCHING FROM TIER 4 TO TIER 2

Post by dazingkoool » Tue Jul 13, 2010 10:34 am

Hi

Can anyone please advice on the following.

Basically I am an international student and my student visa expires on 30 th Jan 2010 and i applied for Tier 4 extension in early Janaury. I recieved the HO decision (in last week of April ) to refuse my application because of inappropriate supporting documents( did not provided CAS). But then i applied again in mid week of May providing letter CAS and bank statement and letter from the university. Hence i recieved the positive reply from HO providing me the extension till Nov 2010.

Now i wish to switch to tier to and my employer is willing to provide me the COS. The only thing worries me is do i need to state that i was overstayer and explain the scenario in the application form where it ask to proivde details if the applicant was overstayed and if have to will that have any effect on my tier 2 application? Also can i apply for tier 2 with premier service ?

Apologies to write up an essay

Regards[/b]

IMHO, Unlikely because your extension application was successful though being out of time.
