PSW dependent question . plz help

Post by apps2010 » Wed Jul 14, 2010 11:48 pm

I am about to apply for my PSW visa . I need my visa pretty soon as my employer needs it within the next 4 weeks .

Now my question is as my husband is on the student dependent visa and we do not meet the funds criteria until September , would there be any problem in him applying separately for PSW dependent in sept. ? can he still remain as student dependent for that 1 month .in the UK .

Thanks

Your husband can only apply to be your PSW dependant after you apply for your PSW visa.. When does your student visa and your husband's student dependant visa expire? You have to apply for your PSW before your student visa expires.. Your question is on the whole incomplete..

sorry for the confusion ,
both visas me and my husbands expire last week of October 2010 .

I need to apply earlier due to employers demand . but as we would not be satisfying the funds req. of £ 1333 ( 800 + 533 ) in last 90 days un til 28.08.2010 , cannot apply together just now . ( I meet the req of £ 800 in last 90 days )

So my question was is it ok for me to apply first and then my husband would apply once the funds criteria is met ? we are worried as if my status is changed from Student to PSW earlier , then what would happen to my husband's status as he would still be Student dependent ?

Apply for PSW for self. Once granted, apply for husband (as PSW dependent) at the earliest (within 28 days/ month, I would recommend).
