Dependant Visa for parents?

I would wish to seek your guidance on behalf of the person to whom I would wish to apply visa for UK.

I am an Indian and so is my wife. I qualify for Tier 1 Visa and will be applying for the same shortly. My wife is also on highly skilled category and hence would be apllying for Tier 1 dependant visa based on success of my Tier 1 visa.

My mother in law is aged, 63 years old. She is a widow and my wife is her only daughter. She doesn't have any close relatives living in Bangalore(India) or close to Bangalore(India) to take care of her. Since she is aged we would wish her to be able to travel and stay in UK with us. My mother in law was previously working in a government organization and hence have some good funds to support her expenditure in UK and rest of the expenditure if any could be taken care of by me and my wife since we both intend to work in UK.

Based on the above circumstances could you please help me to understand if there is a visa category that would be suitable for the elderly dependants. Once i start working in the UK is it possible for me to get her on Dependancy visa.

Unfortunately, under the immigration rules, until your wife is granted ILR, Older dependent relatives may only apply for visitor visas.
