I applied for the british citizenship after complete the more than two year as unmarried couple. I been 7 years living in London, 6 living with my french partner. We sent in 2009 all the documents to the HO for the residence card EEA2 and after involving our local MP to get some answers I received my documents back refusing me to stay in the UK because I didn't provided a original passport of my french boyfriend. We did provided a certificate copy of his passport, a UK registration citizenship of him along with a letter explaining the reasons why he could't give his passport (need to travel). They say in the letter in have no right to appeal because theres is no document shown, but when I receive a letter 3 weeks ago from the HO asking me for more documents they told me no to worry about this that they needed update information about our status.
Is very frustrating because the copy was original and certificated by a proper layer, and we can give the passport with no problem. Is there anything I can do? Do i have the right to appeal?
Does any body has any similar situation?
