Is my Tier2 General Visa likely to be succeed? Please help.

Hi, I would like some help please!
I am soon going to apply for the Tier2 General VISA(applying outside UK). I worked for this well known furniture retailer for over 4 years before my PSW visa expired. My salaries and qualifications are fine and the company has already done the labour market test and got the COS. My worrying is that as the position is mainly to do with furniture. Is it possible to succeed the Tier 2 Skilled visa? Or likely to get refused. Advice please!

Unless the CoS has been applied for giving inaccurate information regarding your job / salary or other mandatory requirements, I don't see a reason why application for leave to enter will be refused.

By issuing a CoS, UKBA has allowed your employer to sponsor you for a specified job, and subject to you meeting Tier 2 application requirements, why would UKBA stop you from entering the UK to undertake the same job.

Thanks for replying. My worrying is that because this job is not on the list of shortage positions and the visa officer may not be convinced that the company can not find a EU citizen to work for them.

You have yourself stated that resident labour market test was conducted and a CoS issued based on that.
