payslips signed and stamped but sent via email

Post by lelik22 » Wed Jul 21, 2010 5:40 am

Hi again

I received payslips from head office of the company i work for and they are signed and stamped. But it the company a while to prepare them, so they send those payslips via email, i.e. scanned version. Will it be ok if I present signed and stamped payslips but in a print out version? Or it all should be original?

Thanks again

The sign & seal needs to have been done ON the printout.

In my opinion, this might not work as the policy guidelines clearly says,
Payslips: These should be either formal i) payslips or on company headed paper. Where formal payslips are produced on plain paper they must be stamped and signed by the employer. Payslips which are not on headed paper or the applicant receives all pay slips online, he/she must authenticate the evidence by asking the employer to sign and stamp a printout.
However, it might be a gamble to try to send them the scanned copies for now, explaining your reasons in your covering letter.

No. You need things in original.

When seal and sign are mandatory to prove the originality of a xerox / print out version, how come you could again submit a printout of the seal / sign.
