Existing sponsors who are downgraded to a B-rating should note that their CoS allocation will be set to zero until they demonstrate their commitment to make improvements by signing up to (and paying the fee associated with) a sponsorship action plan. This zero CoS allocation means that the sponsor will continue to remain licensed by UK Border Agency and be able to continue to sponsor any existing migrants they employ who have valid leave. However, they will not be able to assign a CoS to any new migrants or to existing employees who require an extension to their leave.
