IF I OVERSTAY?

Post by digiboy » Thu Jul 22, 2010 2:01 am

Dear Mates , I am Elaya and I came for MBA course and then moved to PSW .Now my VISA is expiring today 22nd july . I have some works to finish off here before I leave. I am not intending to comeback to UK forever. If by any chance I intend to comeback what cause this overstay will result in future entry clearance?

I intend to overstay as the work I got to finish off is very important before I go.

I intend to leave UK on coming Monday i.e 3 days overstay. What happens when I goto the airport on Monday? What sort of questions can I expect?

Please share your thoughts as this will greatly help my future.

Many Thanks in Advance

On an overstay of 3 days, nothing much is likely to happen to you, when you leave or in the future.

Thanks. How it would affect the future for entry to UK?

If you overstay for less than 28 days and leave at your own expense, I would agree with Mr Rusty. Very little chance that there will be any consequences in the future, unless you use your time to do something like fraudulently obtaining an immigraiton employment document, or claiming benefits you aren't entitled to...

Thanks very much. Its really a great help. I would book my tickets next week then!

Also I have lots of excess baggage(My university books, computer,CD's,Documents) etc... Is it advisable to post a new topic asking help for a cheaper courier company for students and also for all those immigrants who like to send their home some gifts and stuff like that?

Many Thanks
