marriage visa been approved-dependant mistake??? Please help

Post by rob151078 » Sun Jul 25, 2010 7:28 pm

Hi all,

this is my first post on here and was wondering if someone can please answer a question for me?

I am a uk citizen and my wife is from New Zealand. We have a 2 year old daughter together. Three months ago my wife and daughter went back to New Zealand and applyed for a marriage visa and dependant visa after living in uk for 6 months. It was approved last week!!! My wife is wanting to book flights back to uk now but after recieving the visas she is afraid there maybe a mistake. On her visa it says number of dependants 0 when we clearly have a daughter together.
When we made the application we stated that i was and still am completely supporting them both with my wage.

Is this why it says number of dependants 0 or is it a mistake and should say 1?

Also if it is a mistake will it affect them returning to uk?

Can somebody please answer asap, thanks

Some people have their children in their passport, hence they can add more than one person on one visa.
