Maintenance fund-Tier1

Post by sijomonnd » Mon Jul 26, 2010 9:46 am

I planning to apply Tier1 for next month. My last 12months salary account earnings was around 6L and have been keeping 2L on same account(2L included on last 12months earnings) for Maintenance Funds.

Let me know that my application is eligible or not?

Please put your query in a clear way to get answers. What does 6L or 2L mean?. I would suggest you first read the policy guidance for Tier 1 (G) and you would get answers for all your queries.

To check you eligibility please check the PBS calculator.

Please don't expect people to do forex conversion for you. Please read the policy guidance *carefully* on how this is done and which website(s) to use.

This said, you may use your salary account to show evidence of maintenance funds.

Earnings = Salary

Salary = Taxable Income earned by employee, which is paid in a formal way by the employer for which the govt. can apply tax.

It is not that you can earn 4 L and ask ur friend to deposit another 4 lakhs in ur account and can show the earnings....

you have to submit valid proofs / evidences which are acceptable by the visa processing officer for ur earnings.

Hope this helps.
