Tier 1 - Previous Earning - Tax refund

Hi,

I am planning to apply for Tier 1. Right now I am in UK for last 3 months on Tier 2 visa.

I have query regarding previous earning. I got US Tax refund for Financial year 2009 in June 2010. Can I show this as a part of my previous earning for period May 2009 - April 2010? In case I can, what all I need to show to support it?

Earnings, for the purpose of Tier 1 (General), are assessed on gross income - which may or may not be different from taxable income.

Please read the policy guidance *carefully*.
