Not sure if this is the right forum for my post!!!!!!!!

I have an issue that I believe is not unique. Every time I return to the UK from abroad,I get stopped by the immigration team. The same problem keeps coming up,I applied for HSMP about 3 years ago but was refused and told not to appeal because I still had a valid visa(Student Visa). But about a year ago,i changed to the spouse visa but it still does not prevent me from been stooped. All the time, the officer do tell me after making enquires and searches that they are just doing their job and that they would tell the relevant department to remove it from my records. But uptill to date,i still get stopped and told to wait.
Please how do I go about it? Who do I contact? It can be embarrassing sometimes.
Please your views would be well appreciated.

It's a long time since I was regularly using the database that they have on the desk at ports and airports, but from memory, the system had been amended so that officers only had to hit a button to request a deletion from that database - what the officers see on the desk is not the same database used by caseworkers, they have to go into the back office to check that, which is why you are held up.
I think there's no reason why you should still be held up if people did their job properly, so next time it happens, ask to see a Chief Immigration Officer and tell him you will make a complaint if the correct action isn't taken.

Thank you. I do hope they get it removed because on an occassion I did miss my Booked taxi back home. I stilll have the slip they give out when you are told to wait. Hopefully it would be different when next I travel.
