Query about Bank Statement for showing Maintenance

Hi! I will be applying for Tier 1 General on 9th August, but, to show my maintenance funds I am planning to take a Bank Statement only until 15th July, wherein I will be showing my previous earning for period 1st july'09 To 1st July'10 as well as my maintenance claim. "As per policy guidance for showing maintenance, bank statement must be dated no more that 1 month prior to date of application" just wanted to confirm whether bank statement till 15th July will be Ok for for applying on 9th august
