Fired from a sponsored job, any chance of finding another?

Post by onlooker » Sat Jul 31, 2010 3:09 am

I was on a sponsored job and let go on last day of probation because of "attitude not right from the beginning". It was a very small company, one of the bosses was rude very often and bullied me twice, but, obviously, I can't prove that. At 35, I never had any problems at work, so I know there's nothing terribly wrong with me.

The good thing is that I'm a Perl programmer with years of experience which I can demonstrate, and demand for such people tends to be higher than supply.

How do you think would this unfortunate experience affect my chances? Should I put it on my CV, provided I worked mostly with other technologies in that position, which are not rare?

Simply, almost impossible. If something is almost impossible, don't wait for it. Life is short and you have to move on with something else.
