Questions at port of entry - urgent please

Post by nitinmittal13 » Mon Aug 09, 2010 4:14 pm

Hello Everyone,

Recently I got my tier 1 approved and I am planning to fly to UK on 14th August.

Can anyone please tell me what kind of questions are asked at Uk entry for tier 1 holders?

Somebody told me that I need to carry a chest X-ray, so I got the x-ray done. Apart from this is there anything that I need to carry ( I am carring the same supporting docs provided for obtaining visa).

I'll appreciate your response.

Thanks

There is no hard and fast rule for questions.Sometimes they asking very few or nothing and sometimes they interview every thing.

They can ask questions on accommodation and maintenance ect.

Yes TB certificate is a must otherwise you have to wait in lines for hours on arrival for that.

Thanks Ali for the response. One more question, should I carry 2800 pounds in cash with me or is it okay to carry less amount.

You can carry less then £10000(Ten thousand) and there would be no problem.

By law if you carry more then £10000 then you have to fill a form at airport.

Below £10000 not a problem.

£2800 is not a problem.
