gettng bank statements when living abroad.

Hi please help

I am living abroad and am planning to sponsor my my spouse from the same place he is we are both in a 3rd country,he will get a residence card before he applies and I don't need one (ancestry visa) however my money is in UK bank accounts, how can I get bank statements sent out to me in India? Is this possible? Can I ask for them over the phone? I cant find this information anywhere.

Check with your bank if they can post the statements to you overseas or to a third person in the UK who can then courier the statements to you.
