Unfortunately, you cannot switch. Apply from outside the UK.

And, it is not a PSW extension but change of immigration category (to dependent of HSMP / Tier 1 migrant).

Extension is when applying for further leave to remain in the same immigration category (that you currently hold).

1. Tier 1 (PSW) leave cannot be extended.
2. When changing immigration category, it is not an extension (as explained above).

Vinny has already indicated what your next steps are.

psw?

Post by coolguddu » Tue Aug 17, 2010 12:50 pm

thanks for your all help,
i still have one query, about maintenance fund.
My husband and me we are living together from 5 years in UK.
I came on student visa and switch to PSW.
My husband was on dependent visa on that time.
So he went to India in july2010 and he applied tier1 general migrant and he got visa from 29 July 2010 for 2 years.
In this scenario how much i need to show maintenance fund for me and my 1 year daughter for tier1 dependent visa.

Text in bold / huge fonts doesn't help in getting quick feedback.. but may rather annoy the viewers!

Amount = 800 (main migrant) + 533 for each dependent, maintained for at least 90 days. Read the PBS dependents policy guidance for specific details.

No offence, but that's like a child saying - I see it, I want it and I'll cry to death without it!

Familiarizing yourself with the term netiquette will help.
