my wife got txt about an hour ago to collect her application, i sent an email to ISLAMABAD VAC this morning to ask them if they have received the paper work beoz dae neva pik up the phone, the tip i used was to be so friendly and understanding when sending the email and they responsed bck in 15 minutes saying its being processed and will get bck to you when its done.
Please dua for me for a positive outcome.

Finally status changed online today ready for collection after 13th week.just one question can we still go for pick the passport even my wife has not recieved any text or call yet.my wife think she can not go untill she recieve the text by Gerry but I think we can collect because online status has been changed

Humtum you get the text in the morning not right now, early morning around 6 AM. But don't worry even if your wife doesn't get the text, she can still go pick it up.

It all depends on their local MP. MP's can be quite busy around this time as it is, and when they do finally get the time, they do eventually manage to help you out.

A word of advice, don't need to get your MP's involved until and unless 12-16 weeks have progressed, because every case is decided on it's own merit, and due to the nature of each individual case, some cases can take longer than others.

Just relax, sit back and tell your friend to wait until those 16 weeks are up (which works out to be the average of most passport reversals), and then try to get the MP involved.

I have every faith in Allah that inshAllah he will help me. However, I am sure Allah can forgive me for thinking the worse. I hear stories that they can God forbid reject the application because I do not have thousands saved in my bank. Do you guys think I should be worried?

I dont think u need to get worried, as u said u have explained ur situation i personally think it will be fine because u just started ur career and u can afford ur wife. Inshallah u will get the visa

I applied on 13th may and its been 14 weeks today still they havent made any decision on my application so i think it all depends on luck. just keep ur full faith on Allah miya and pray

My Wife applied on 21st June. BHC got the application on the 5th July. Lets hope they do not take long to issue the visa... Aameen.

Yes it was manic that day. I was actually in London at the time. We got our nikah done in January. She went to submit the application by herself. but i know that she was extremely frustrated with the wait. Her appointment was 10:30 and she came out at 4pm.
