zar2009 - W/salaam to be honest I have been trying to work that out as majority of other members have had status changed in around 10-15 days after submission date. Its very strange.zar2009 wrote:Salaam K44MYYK44MYY wrote: K44MYY - MIRPUR - 22/07/10 - passed onto Islamabed on 22/07/10
Zar2009 - Islamabad - 26/07/10 - passed onto Islamabad on 26/07/10
I notice that both you and I have not had our status changed to Under Process at BHC - do you have any ideas why this may be?
I did phone Gerrys last week to ask them why the status had not changed to 'Under Process at BHC' . They did try to assure me that it doesnt matter and that the application is under process. It was a very confusing conversation with contradictions throughout.K44MYY wrote:

Anyone else have any views, suggestions why this may be?
Seems like im only one who went and handed it in Mirpur lol
Until a few months ago there was no 'Under process' stage before, so it is possible some peoples' status simply changes to 'Ready for collection' after being on 'Forwarded to BHC ISB' for a long while. I'm no expert but it could be due to teething issues with the new extra stage added in recently. I wouldn't worry too much. You could try emailing just to ensure it is under process though.zar2009 wrote:I did phone Gerrys last week to ask them why the status had not changed to 'Under Process at BHC' . hmmmm zar2009 I think it will be under process all it is that they dont update the website in real time. As I can recall with many members visas have been issued and when they come to know, the dates dont tend to match up.zar2009 wrote:I did phone Gerrys last week to ask them why the status had not changed to 'Under Process at BHC' . If I was in your position I would email all of the email addresses in this thread.K44MYY wrote:corrado wrote:Until a few months ago there was no 'Under process' stage before, so it is possible some peoples' status simply changes to 'Ready for collection' after being on 'Forwarded to BHC ISB' for a long while. What would be the best email to use where we would get a response soon as kind of thing?
I guess you could be right.
Dear K44MYY,K44MYY wrote:Thnx corrado I will do that Insha Allah.
It would be assuring to know its under process atleast rather than to see passed on to Islamabad on the same day.
Zar2009 - where you in Pakisan at time when you handed it in by any chance cos I went with my Mrs to hand it in at Mirpur.
DITTO!!! I did state that they hadn't really answered my question and just got another pointless response back. But I think I am going to go with what Corrado was saying and that it is just teething problems. I am sure we have not been left out!!K44MYY wrote:Hey zar2009 no one has actually answered the question. They could have just stated if it is under process atleast so we know its been looked at.
They just provide the basic info on guide lines and time scales.
To be honest half of them dont even read te email properly I guess and just have a reply already typed out and saved on computer that they just copy and paste in the reply of the email just to save time I guess.
Dear zmk2zmk2 wrote:Salam,
The status doesnt change from forwarded to islamabad to Underprocess at BHC for every1. My status didnt change, It only changed to Ready for collection. There is no point in stressing ur self out on status changes. As they have responded in ur email stating that it doesnt necessary change. Plus it has only been a month for some applicants and they are stressing out, Just remember it has a guide line of 12 weeks. I waited 13 weeks, some ppl waited 15/16 weeks. Just have patience and indulge urself in zikr and prayer and dont let this month go to waste, May ALLAH make it easy for every1 as HE made it easy for me.
This is slightly different to a normal spouse visa application as it is an appeal hearing not initial application.K44MYY wrote:Salaam sabeennaz
Who has asked you to get 3 witness statements for where you live?
Are you a sponsor if so then your bank statements, wage slips, council tax, utility bills, and any other bill will have your address on it as proof,
That would be the best form of ID in a way to confirm where you live.
I dont know where you have got the idea of doing a witness statement or who has asked you to do it. 1st I have heard of it?
