Weird situation! Earning power..

Post by Sami_ » Sat Apr 01, 2006 6:39 am

Hi All,

I've used the points calculator and it seems that all comes down to the earning power to decide weather I pass or not..

My situation is, since I graduated with a civil engineering bachelor degree, I have been working for my father who is also an engineer and is the sole owner of the construction company I work for.

Will they refuse to accept payment slips from me based on the fact that my father owns the company and I could easily get papers that say my slalary is a zillion pounds per year?

Cheers.

Don't you have to use like two sources to verify your income e.g. payslips + tax return or bank statements (showing salary payments) or a letter from your accountant. I suppose the tax returns / bank statements would be considered a more objective source in this scenario. I'm not sure though...I'm just speculating.
