residence calculation help please!

Just wondering, when calculating residency, can 3 month tourist (think this is stamp 3) visas be included?

The type of your visa does not matter. Visa is a document giving you the limited right to enter the country. Only periods covered by GNIB registration stamps are counted.

Not counted for LTR:
legal residence in the State on work permit conditions which is reflected in the corresponding Stamp 1 or Stamp 4 endorsements on a person's passport

For naturalisation:
Stamp 3 (dependant) is counted towards the total residency, but it could be that the permission to stay for a "visit" does not count.
