I submit in April 2011, but cap is reached - what then?

Does anyone know what are the rules for assessing applications made under interrim rules, but not fitting the interrim cap?

I tried to find out on UKBA website, but without luck. If they continue to be assessed under the same criteria, and same first come - first served basis, only under new cap - that's fine. But does UKBA say that anywhere?

What does that mean?

Only certain types of applications submitted on/after 19-July are subject to interim cap (e.g. - extension applications are not affected by cap).

My question is: what happens to applications that are submitted during interrim period and are subject to interrim cap, BUT can't be included in that cap?

For example, interrim cap is reached in April 15, I submit on April 16 - what then? Will the application be considered under interrim rules, but the new permanent cap?

You will have to wait for UKBA to publish details about the permanent cap and how will permanent cap exactly work to know the answer to your question.
