Recourse to public funds after ILR stamping

Post by deepakgeorge » Fri Mar 31, 2006 10:23 pm

I have heard from some friends that the law has changed for ILR and there should not be any recourse to public funds after ILR stamping also ..
Is this true?

You can have as much recourse to public funds as you wish after you get the ILR. Take every penny your hands can grab - after all you've been working very hard for it.

I am, for example, paying something like £30,000 tax per annum to help finance some trashy single mums get free council housing. I would much prefer fellow migrants to benefit from my taxes.

Yes, if we know the neighbourhood you can see (at least i can see, as i live south of river thames) how much benifits they are enjoying. Most of the girls have a kid, but single mums, getting huge amount of council benifits. Another channel is fostering (though it is different concept, but a fair amount of misuse). Also i know some of these people forced their disabled father/mother to come here to take advantage of government benefits (new car, no parking fees, monthly allowances etc etc)

I pay good amount of taxes and these people taking advantage by all means without doing anything
