What do you fill in VAF1?

If you are refused an extension visa because HSMP was refused, what do you fill for section 4.4,4.5 and 4.6 of VAF1 when coming in as a tourist?
Please advice.

Having just looked at a VAF1, not sure I understand your question, or the problem. Obviously the answer is that the answers must be truthful. Q4.4 will be Yes, and Q4.5 and Q4.6?

Well I applied for HSMP under the switching category and FLR(IED) because my workingholidaymaker visa was going to end soon. The HSMP refusal decision came to me after my working holiday maker visa ended and I appealled. The same day I appealled,I received a letter stating because my HSMP was unsuccessful, my leave to remain expires on the the day the IND letter was dated. I called IND and told them that I have appealled and they said I can stay in the country legally until I hear about my appeal. The work permits UK team said that if my appeal gets refused then my leave to remain was the date I received the letter. I was not deported as I left immidiately 5 days later.

Please advice what do I fill for section 4.5 and 4.6?
