Please help me to have a look!

Post by ethanang » Wed Jun 09, 2004 3:00 pm

Hi,

I am holding MSc degree. HAve got one letter yesterday it said "Thank you for application under the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP). Please find enclosed the original documentation that was supplied in support of the application. If you have supplied documentaion to extablish that you have a spouse/dependant partner this will be returned to you shortly. A decision will be made on the application shortly and you will be informed of the decision by post. Any
passports submitted to our office will be returned letters." With this letter, they have returned all mine and my wife's documents expect passports and UK police registrastion form (for CHinese people, need to register).

Becasue I am not sure the meaning of thise sentence "If you have supplied documentaion to extablish that you have a spouse/dependant partner this will be returned to you shortly. " Today, I have ringed to Home office. They said they had made decision but can not tell me the results on 7/06/04. and will get decision soon.

Could anyone help me to analysis? my case is approved or refused.

"If you have supplied documentaion to extablish that you have a spouse/dependant partner this will be returned to you shortly. "

This simply means that if you are married and sent off documentation to support you marriage, the Home Office will be sending your documentation back shortly. Did you send off documents such as marriage certificate or claim points for wife's education? If you did the Home Office will send it back to you soon.

As far as the decision if you have been approved or not, you will have to wait for the letter. There is no way to tell at this point.

HI, unixguru

I have sent off documents such as marriage certificate and claim points for wife's education. However, those documentsincluding marriage certificate has been sent back with my materials to me . But the police registration forms and passports are not sent back.

So this is the reason why I am surprised.

Thanks!!

Don't worry, it's a pre-formatted letter. You will get the decision letter and passports soon. (4 to 7 weeks)

Thanks for your reply.

I hope I can get approve. By the way, when I ring them (HSMP team), they told me that My case is clear, but they can not tell me the result. I need to wait for decision. Is it correct? or they do not want to tell me the truth.

Kinds,
