PSW to Tier 2. in-country app related question

hi everyone,

i need to switch from psw to tier 2 status and was wondering :

1) do i need to find a job as listed in codes of practice? or is it not relevant to psw holders.

I will be keen to have a reply from those who successfully switched from psw to tier 2.

edit: i would be claiming 30 points for working with same employer for 6 months so resident labour test is not relevant to me

My expereince says getting a license and COS can take over 10 weeks. So keep in mind this kind of a time line or else you will run out of time.
