self employed income

hi i am going to apply for tier 1 general end of this month...
my earnings are from 20k from sal and 15 k from self employed.
what are the documents i need to provide..?
i am not having business account...

could you please help me to gather documents

UNFORTUNATELY , you cant apply like that.

you need to open a business account which is more authentic way to show self employment payments.

register your self as a self employed sole trader.

read guidance note fro tier 1, pg 22-25, point 142. you must provide at least 2 documents.

Yes you can definately apply and can claim income for self employed by showing yourself as a contractor. Business account is not required
Following are the documents you need to provide
1) An accountant’s (C.A) letter confirming a breakdown of your gross and net earnings for the period claimed and
2)Personal bank statements highlighting all credit payments made to your account during the earnings period claimed.
3)Copy of all invoices raised by you.

i am having accountant letter and invoices
am having HMRC letter and paying NI contributions
having employers liability insurance
is that enough document to provide to the HO.
