Hi,

Currently I am in UK with Tier-1(General) visa. I am planing to apply for dependent visa for wife who currently in India. I have done register marriage and having valid marriage certificate. Few questions:

- My wife has passport which was issued before marriage. Hence my name is
not mention in her passport. Will it be a issue for applying dependent visa?

- I have valid marriage certificate issued by Govt of India. Do marriage
certificate sufficient as a proof of marriage for applying dependent visa?

yes MArrige certificate is enough uless HO aks u more supporting for validating marriage
