need information on EEA2 wife visa

Post by satyank_2020 » Tue Sep 07, 2010 10:34 am

Dear Friends,

I'm German citizen but born and growup in India and now working in UK since April 2010.

My wife is an Indian. She did MSc in UK and now working as a research scientist. She came to UK as a student (on student visa) and now she has post study work permit till mid of next year.

now, im planning to change her Visa status to depended on me. As im German i think i can apply under EEA2 while she has residence permit in UK. However, i have no idea how to proceed and what are the documents required to apply depended visa for my wife.

please help us
thank you very much for your help

Not visa but a residence card for your wife and a registration certificate for yourself. Both are optional.

I suggest reading here http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/eucit ... ropeanlaw/ and also spend some time on this forum. Your case sounds very much standard and similar cases have been discussed here multiple times.

As both documents are optional there can, logically, be no interdependence. So, no.
