Visa taking a long time; can I call the office?

Post by mia777 » Tue Sep 07, 2010 8:10 pm

Hi. I sent out my visa application and got an e-mail from "CHICAVisaInfo@fco.gov.uk" telling me that they have received my visa. This was on August 19, 2010.

As of September 7, 2010, I've yet to receive any information and can't stop checking my e-mail!!! In the aforementioned e-mail it says it may take "up to 15 days" and it's now been longer than that.

Is there any way to call in the office or speed up processing now that it's been sent?

My school is starting soon and am getting concerned.

Thanks,
MIA777

I don't know how it is in your country, but here it says "15 working days"...which means they still have time)
