Visitor visa for parents

Post by jain208 » Thu Sep 09, 2010 8:45 pm

Hi,

I am planning to apply for a visitor visa for my parents. I am staying in a rented 2-bedroom house with my wife and a 4-year son.

The council tax for my house is paid by my landlord and I pay him the amount along with the landlord. Can that be a problem in my application? I will also add that in my rent agreement, this arrangement is not mentioned. I mean, it doesn't say that the landlord will be paying the council tax and I will be paying him this amount along with the rent.

Electricity and gas bills and phone line are in my name so I can provide proofs for that.

What are the options I have to get the visa for my parents?

Thanks,
Abhi.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.
In that case, what are the documents that will be required for my visa application? I forgot to add that I am on HSMP visa...

Thanks for your help,
Abhi.
