Passport, visa required for new born of Tier-2 visa holder?

Hi all,

I have been staying in UK since Dec 2009 onTier 2 - intra company visa and my wife is here as Tier 2 - dependant. We both have indian passports. Our visas are valid till July 2011. We are expecting a baby in in March 2011.

Can any one tell me what passport will my child get, an Indian passport or a british passport?

Where I can apply for the passport and what visa do my child need to stay in UK.

1. The child will be an Indian citizen, so Indian passport.
2. If you plan for child birth in the UK, then apply for passport at HCI offices in the UK.
3. Tier 2 dependent.

I am applying a UK Visa 2 tier company sponsor for my wife. she want to go with my son he is 10 years old. at present I am not applying visa. They are asking who will take care if she is going to office in UK . for that they want letter from any one care taker .

Is there any format for that.

Kindly let me know on urgent basis.
