Got made redundant-up to 60 days limit to remain in country

Post by evem » Tue Sep 14, 2010 8:19 pm

Hi all,

I am currently holding a Tier 2 (General) work permit but unfortunately got made redundant on the 17th of August. If I am not wrong, I have up to 60 days to remain in the country legally till I find another job. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I have decided to pursue my Masters degree (That means back to Tier 4).

Ok, now the question part, am I allowed to travel in the meantime? (A break before uni starts) Will I risk having my Tier 2 revoked there and then at the immigration desk?

Please advise. Thanks!
