Parents as Dependents in PSW

Post by abz » Thu Sep 16, 2010 12:50 am

Hi All,

welll i am going to apply my PSW within a month, im just curious to findout if:

1- i can apply a dependent visa for my parents, i am single at the moment and only son of my parents.
2- what would be the requirements if that case exist.
3- its been 6 years im in UK on student visa , so how much i need to show as my bank statement for 3 months ? (ie. 1600 pounds each or 550 each).

Any help would be much appreciated.

How dependants can come to the United Kingdom wrote:If your application to the points-based system is successful, you are allowed to bring dependants (children under 18 years of age, or your husband, wife, civil partner, or unmarried or same-sex partner) with you to the United Kingdom, provided we give them entry clearance or permission to stay (known as 'leave to remain').

You are. The statement "revolves" around partners and kids because only they are classified as dependents, not parents.
