firstly im new here so this might be posted in the wrong place,
anyway im a uk born british citizen and i am married to my wife which is a turkish citizen we have been married for yrs now and we lived together for this time in turkey. i recently came bk to the uk 6 months ago to get into a job and rent a hse for visa requirements
we applied for a visa on 18 aug 2010 and itis now oct 5th they calle me from the embassy in istanbul asking if im still sponsoring my wife i said yes they then asked her date of birth and full name which i gave them this was about 3 weeks ago roughly and nothin since then is this normal h and my wife is 5and a alf months pregnant which we also included in the application my worry is its gettin later and later for the pregnancy and she wont be able to fly out

if any1 can help me in answers i would be very greatfull

i think theyre allowed to take a bit more time over the settlement visa .. i assume this is what u applied for?? but then again, maybe not as i remember with my husbands settlement we attended an interview and got the answer that day?? look on the worldbridge site for time scales i know with visit visa its only 5-15 days

WELL she got the text sayingher pasprt is with the courrier soshe s gonna recieve it tommorrow hopefully she will have the visA and not a refusal
