First of all thanks a lot to this forum for helping me and others. I just wanted to let user to know about new change in HSMP extension. I applied for my extension on 29 March and I got extended VISA on 05 April. And I was surprise to see VISA validation period. Yes it is for 4 years. According to home office new rule, it is now 4 years instead of 3 years. And also good thing is processing time. They processed my application only in 4 working days. It's great from HOME OFFICE.
Now Me, My wife and new born baby has visa valid till May 2010.

Please let me know if you have any question.
-Kind Regards

Raj

I recieved my stamped passport, to my surprise they have given me 4 yrs extension after my 1 year. They mentioned because of new rule for settlement requiring 5 year in total, my leave to remain is granted for 4 years.
I applied on 30th march 06

Thak you Raj for Posting this message
What is great about this forum/board is that we get message from the real people in real time who really get involved in the process.

We do not know exactly but there is also high probability that the people in the HSMP team or their consultant might read this forum regularly, so they know what is actually going on, where is the loophole intheir system.

I remember this outcomes have been predicted by one moderator in this forum.
