Previous earnings - Allowance

I am planning to apply for tier-1 from India - I am in US at the moment for an assignment and I am eligible for some allowances which will get printed in my payslip as well. Just wanted to know when I calcualte my previous earnings, I'll be able to use these allowances ?

Yes, but only if these allowances are not reimbursements for expenses incurred to carry out your work.

Reading the policy guidance will help.
