My appoint for ILR application with Croydon PEO is in Nov which is approaching by successfully completing 5 years work permit. I have an unusual question about ILR application including children and can not find the answer throughout this forum.
I will apply my both children as ILR dependants who both were born in the UK. I understand that they are entitled for British citizen as soon as my ILR is granted. Because my country only recognise one passport, which means if they apply British passport they have to automatically give up present passports, which is a shame! I am still confused if they should go for it. I think probably its the best to take them as ILR first and if later in the future we are ready to give up their present passports, we can always apply British passports for them.
My question is which birth certificate is required for Children ILR application as dependants? The short birth certificate with their own names or the full certificate with parents name?
Simple question really, but dying for the answer...and i think this post should stay ILR forum.
