Re-applying After rejecting my 1st visa application for fund

Post by prabhuns » Sun Oct 17, 2010 4:19 pm

Hi all,

3 months back, i applied for Tier1-general and got reject stating that not enough support document to prove that i can liquidate my fund (fund maintenance) at any point of time.(But got entire points for the other sections)

I had an Auto swap-in/out account where in money will automatically transfer to a temporary fd account. Even tho i have got a letter from DB bank saying "i had Effective available balance of 2.5 lac over the past 3 month", still i got rejected."Effective Available balance" mean i can liquidate at any point of time. I had option for applying "Admin Review". I applied for Admin Review also, but in vein.

I have converted my bank account into normal saving account, now i am planning to apply again.

I have a few question :

1. When i applied last time, i had a current employer. But, last month, I have resigned from my current job and i am in a break and doing freelancing: right now, I am mentioning in the cover that i am doing freelancing.. do i have to submit any other documents except my relieving letter ?

2. Regarding the Accommodation: last time i have quoted :

"For the moment, I have not made any arrangements as once I get visa, I need to submit resignation / serve notice period to my Company and it will take some time for final settlement with the Company. So once all these are cleared, I will arrange for the accommodation in a Hotel on a temporary basis in UK. Later I plan to look for a more suitable accommodation, once I settle down in the UK. That would be in the close vicinity of my place of employment."

But right now i dont have a job, do i need to proceed any documents for "accommodation arrangement"

3. Along with my new application and other documents do i have to submit all the previous document i have submited ?

Please help me on this.

Thanks in anticipation !

Thanks a lot Sushil.

At this point of time, i am worried if I book any hotels but it might go waste if i dont get my visa again.

Just wondering, if i can mention something like :

"For the moment, I have not made any arrangements as once I get visa, I will arrange for the accommodation in a Hotel on a temporary basis in UK. Later I plan to look for a more suitable accommodation, once I settle down in the UK. That would be in the close vicinity of my place of employment. And more over I have good number of friends and my ex-colleagues living in UK to support me if require at any point of time. So I am waiting for my visa, then I can certainly confirm and arrange for my accommodation. "

thanks again

And My main question will be on employment. currently i dont have any employer, i hope that should be a problem in my application !?

Is there anyone who applied for Tier 1 G without having any present employer ?

Thanks again !

There is no requirement to be employed / self-employed (or both) when making a Tier 1 (General) application. Likewise, there is no requirement to provide evidence of accommodation in the UK when applying for Tier 1 (General).
