Is it possible to pay fee by debit card of another person?

Post by quite eager » Tue Apr 18, 2006 3:12 pm

I am presently in Iran where there are no international credit/debit cards. As I intend to apply for hsmp, i want to ask if it would be alright if i make the payment of fee through a friend in the UK. He is prepared to give his card details and affix his signatures on the first page of my application form.

I want to pay by card to save time otherwise I can get a cheque from my friend in favour of Home Office, but i know it would cause a delay of 8-10 days.

I see no reason why you can't do it.
HO needs money. They don't really care from whom it is coming.
