Cancelling Accommodation Sponsorship and Visitor Visa

Hello Learned Ones !

I had offered accommodation to a friend of mine when She applied for EC on Tier 1(G). I have promised to provide accommodation until she finds a job. Now I need to sponsor my parents to the UK and the VAF1B for it asks whether your sponsor(me) has sponsored someone before.

I have the following delimma

1. Is offering accommadation sponsorship akin to sponsoring someone which comes with it's own set of responsibilities ?
2. Should this Acco sponsorship be mentioned in VAF1B?
3. Is there anyway I can renounce/annul this acco sponsorship?

I had provided with the letter offering accommodation until She gets a job along with rental agreement and my financial standing while applying for EC clearance from India.

Any pointers will greatly help.

However you should clarify in the application that the original support was for a Tier-1 immigrant and not a visitor.
