My employer applied for tier 2 general license in July and it took 4 months for the immigration to approve the license, it was delayed for no reason. My employer submitted COS application in sept for october panel meeting, they didn't consider the cos application because of the delay in processing the license application. they refused the cos request on 3 rd oct and approved my employer license on 5th oct. They should have approved my employer license before the panel meeting and should have considered my cos request on Oct panel. At the moment my employer submitted cos request last week and is waiting for Nov 1st panel decsion. I am on post study work and I have been working for this employer for 9 months, My visa expires on Nov 7th and I just got 4 working days left after Nov 1st panel meeting to sort out my problems. This new Govt is making a mistake, CBI have already filed case against Immigration cap as this system was introduced without parliamentry approval. My HR manager contacted immigration and he was told that there was 2000 cos request in the oct panel meeting and just 108 extension cos request were approved. The interesting thing is that they considered 2000 in one hour panel meeting.

Lets all hope that November panel meeting would consider psw cases as well. New Goverment is actually cheating us, most of you worked hard to acheive degree from uk and would have struggled a lot like me to find a permanant contract. Don't worry guys, everything gonna be okay in couple weeks time, this is not going to be end of the world.
